This is the first release of a mansion scene I am working on. It took me several weeks to complete this scene and a final render time of 1 hour and 27 minutes. There are more camera angles and updates to come, and I would really appreciate hearing what I can do to improve this scene. Thanks.
Hey... very nice work..
Well, here is the suffs that I think will improve it:
1. There may be too much exposure on the pillars; especially at the top part. I'd rather to turn it down lower
2. I guess the wood material on the floor is having little too much reflectivity. Real-world wood parquet may
not have that much of reflection. Except you are intended to make the floor material as a glossy ceramics
instead.
3. Add more lights at lower hall at lower part of the scene? adjust this to your preferences, you may opt not
to do this if you want an effect of one main light lit the scene exactly like what you do ..
The other things are superb, I like the texture map of the wall
Nice 3d design...
Have some question? or maybe you want to angry with me because I don't give you good critiques?
feel free to drop me a message...
Very beautiful! I don't know much about 3d so I can only say that the door on the ground floor looks a little bit distorted... But in fact the whole picture looks as good as a photo!
Great work, I love this kind of design, masive wood / old fashion design(Not like the new with all the metal and strange stuff).
But you know it look kinda empty to make it look great in my opinion you should add stylized big vases/pots with room plants and some paintings with the same old style frames.
Cant add much to what was already said, but the doors really look out of place comparing to the other stuff.
Thank you very much, paintings and vases and such are exactly what i was thinking I just havn't had a chance to figure that out yet...(Too busy with traditional art). I'll look into the doors but i may be too lazy to do anything about them.
Thanks again.
now this remainds me to resident evil, why don't you try to put some art an the walls... and the pillars needs to be round, but still... it's very nice
